Rumor: Microsoft Wants to Rid of XBL Point System, Favoring Real Money Instead
Online currencies, such as Microsoft Points, Nintendo Points and all other senseless point systems pulled out of the unconventional asses of game retailers and software providers have simply become nothing more than an annoyance in the purchasing of gaming entertainment. Thankfully, Microsoft is rumored to be considering a move from this annoying internet currency in favor of real money. This change will not only affect Xbox Live, but also the Zune Marketplace and the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace as well. However, it's great to see the company coming back to the world of logic, and vouching for a monetary system that doesn't suck.
